There are many carriers that will write you in this situation. Depending on your state. Some of the carriers that we use the will cover you if you have no license. They know that you are driving and they look at it as if you were in an accident with another one of their clients then they would want them covered so they would rather take the risk and insure you with a license or not.

Yes you can, most likely with an SR22 filing.  Although it is illegal, people do drive with suspended licenses.  Expect to pay a higher rate with a high risk auto insurance carrier.  Many people with suspended licenses must be able to show proof of insurance before their licenses will be reinstated.

In Virginia, you can get an insurance policy and file an SR22 which would allow you to get your license back. You have to check with DMV to see what fines need to be paid but you can get insurance. DMV will inform you how long the SR22 is required but in most cases it's between 1 - 3 years.

Yes, under the right set of circumstances it is possible to secure auto insurance coverage with a suspended drivers license. If you have hit the end of your suspention period and are looking to get your license reinstated then you will normally be required to have proof of insurance before getting your license back. Normally after a suspention you will be required to have an SR-22 also. Contact a local agent to discuss your coverage needs and pricing.

I am sorry to say that is going to be a bit difficult.  If you have insurance and your license is suspended due to a serious infraction and your company learns about it, they may even take action mid term to cancel the policy.  If your drivers license is suspended, then it is illegal for you to drive.  An insurance company won't want to assume the risk.
