    That is a great question! You will be able to get a policy if you've filed for bankruptcy, but if you are broke and unable to make the payments, you will not have the coverage long enough for it to matter. There are companies that don't consider credit when they issue policies, but they typically are very bare bones. Have an agent help you, and as long as you can keep up on the payments, you should be fine. Thanks for asking!
