    That is a great question! The answer is you really don't want to. First, most States will  require that the car be licensed and registered in the same State, and levy fines or license suspensions if they find it isn't. The insurance company will more often than not deny a claim, or even cancel your policy if they find that you misrepresented where the car was being used. All in all, it's not a good idea.
