Hi,

I live in Charlotte, NC and looking forward to buy a car from private party. Can i take test drive without insurance. I don’t own a vehicle as of now.

    That is really up to the party that owns the vehicle. If they allow you to drive the vehicle and you do not have insurance and are involved in an accident while driving the vehicle; (they (there insurance carrier)) could be held responsible for any damages during that accident. It would count as a claim on their insurance record and could potential affect there rates in the future.
