Your Auto Insurance covers Medical expenses up to the limit of your policy if someone is hurt getting in or out of your vehicle or if you are in an accident under the Medical pay portion of your contract. If the other driver is at fault you Medical Pay will pay and then collect from the other drivers insurance. Medical Pay is not designed to be a substitute for good health insurance and is limited depending on your policy to between $1000 and $10,000. Keep in mind that there are difference n State Law so check with your agent to be specific about your State and Policy limits.
