By "Full Coverage" I am assuming you mean, does carrying Comprehensive and Collision coverage cover repairs?  If you have a covered claim i.e. - an accident, hit a deer, backed into your wife's car like I did the other week - then yes, carrying Comprehensive and Collision coverage would pay to fix those covered damages subject to your poilcy deductible.

If you are experiencing general vehicle issues, i.e. - motor running roof, transmission mission or other general wear and tear - no, your insurance coverage would not come into play in these cases.  Insurance only comes into play to repair a vehilce when there is a covered claim.

I am not clear on what you mean by repairs but if you are referring to general maintenance and mechanical breakdown the answer is No your auto insurance policy does not cover these types of situations. If you carry collision coverage repairs to the vehicle caused by the collision would be covered up to the limit of the value of your vehicle before being considered a total loss. Same hold true for comprehensive coverage which covers a non collision loss such as theft, vandalism, falling or flying objects to name a few. Consult your local agent for specifics on your current situation. I recommend annual policy reviews with your agent to make sure your insurance is keeping up with your ever changing needs.
