It's US insurance and will only cover you in the United States, Canada and US Territories.. US insurance has no jurisdiction in Europe and is unable to defend or bring suit in a court case. US Auto insurance typically covers you while driving throughout the 50 states and in US territories. You usually are also covered if driving in Canada, but there may be a requirement that you carry proof of insurance on a Canadian form document, so check with your Insurance Professional.
