    the good news: Ohio is the cheapest state in the country for auto insurance.
    the bad news: auto insurance for teenagers is very still expensive no matter which state you're in.

    but here are a couple tips for getting lower rates:
    -stay on your parents' policy. unless there are special circumstances, it almost always comes out cheaper to stay on your parents' policy than having your own policy.
    -shop around. companies have different appetites. the more companies that you get quotes from, the better your chances at finding lower rates.
