The best way to increase your insurability is to have a clean driving record.  Avoiding tickets, accidents and damage claims for an extended period of time demonstrates that you are a careful driver, and that your risks are low. Another thing that will help - keep paying your bills on time, and more than minimum payments if possible. Most insurance companies factor in your credit record into their scores, and a good record there over time demonstrates responsibility also.
