An SR-22 is a state filing for a specific person. It specifies that a certain person has the specified amount of coverage and guarantees to the state that coverage will be in force for the duration of the policy period. I have never seen an instance where two people on a policy both had to have the filing but if that happened to be the case, each one would have to have the filing.
