the information you will need to secure motorcycle insurance is very similar to the information you needed to insure your car. If you are talking to the Insurance Professional who is already serving your car insurance needs, you are way ahead of the game because all of your personal information will already be available. Next you'll need to provide the year, make and model of your bike along with the engine size - 750 cc or C50 for example. The bike's Vehicle ID number will also be needed as well as the value of the machine. If you have completed a Rider Safety Course, required by many states in order for first time riders to obtain their license endorsement, a copy of that certificate will also be needed. Finally, if your bike is equipped with an alarm or other theft deterrent device, certification of that would be needed.
