    There are scenarios where a business can deduct disability insurance premiums as operational expense. Keep in mind that deducting the premiums can have two considerations. First you can increase the benefits up to around 80% of your compensation, but the benefits are taxable as ordinary income at the effective tax bracket rate of the policy beneficiary.
