    What do you mean by government health insurance?  If you are asking about a government health insurance plan such as Medicaid then I guess you could say it's cheap as that is a program for the poor for which they don't really pay anything.

    If you are asking about health insurance for Federal government employees they have many health insurance plan options at different price points to choose from.  I don't think many government employees think their health insurance is cheap even though their coverage is largely paid for by the government.  Certainly in comparison to most of their peers in private sector companies these days most government employees pay less for their health insurance coverage.
