If you're the owner of the business (or authorized person to set up group coverage for the business), you should work with an experienced health insurance broker who can review options for multiple companies and create a thorough comparison between plans.  Group insurance works a lot different than individual insurance and is constantly changing in the marketplace.

If you're an employee of a business looking to sign up for group health insurance through your employer, then you would need to contact your HR representative to enroll.

Group health insurance quotes are based on the size of your business, the industry’s SIC code, age of employees, and average employee health (for most states).  There are no instant online quotes for group health insurance for these reasons.

Some of the companies that can offer group plans include United Healthcare, Kaiser Permanente, Anthem BCBS, CareFirst BCBS, Aetna, and Coventry, to name a few.

Even if you already have a group plan, you may want to compare the options with other plans available to you in the marketplace. In many circumstances, an alternative benefit structure can provide similar benefits and save you huge dollars in premiums.

I hope the information is helpful. Please feel free to contact me for help if you would like assistance with your business' program and if you have any other questions. Thanks very much.
