Each carrier has their strong points and weaknesses. Some offer plans that do not cover brand Rx or will only cover generics and a few brand name drugs.
Currently (2013) there are no plans that include maternity benefits, and no carriers that offer child only coverage.
I suggest you talk to a local agent that is familiar with several carriers and can explain the benefit of each.
