    Health insurance will only cover cosmetic surgery if it's medically necessary.

    If you're getting an elective cosmetic procedure done, you would be responsible for paying the entire cost of the surgery out-of-pocket.

    Because surgery is very expensive in general, it's always good to talk to your agent/insurance carrier to see if a procedure would be covered.
