    That is a great question. The simple answer?  Because the costs of health care are rising, as are the costs of insuring an increasingly aging population. We have nearly 10,000 people a day turning 65, and often as they age, they have more health issues. Our population is also increasingly overweight, and suffering from the effects of that.
