You can look at a single payer system here in America right now. The Veteran’s Administration is a single payer system; military health care, public health care; Medicare and Medicaid are all single payer systems. There is generally access to basic health services, however, to control costs more expensive procedures are often difficult to receive.

David was "nice about it"... NO. Really??? Just watch the news... VA, Medicaid, & Medicare are full of fraud and terrible care (cases by case). If the logic is "one system fits all" applies here, then we all need the same phone, cell plan, house size, color of you car, etc.....

Obamacare was supposed to "improve competition". Instead, dozens of regional carriers have died, the big guys are trying to merge together, and networks have shrunk like fruit in a dehydrator.

Competition spurs improvement. We might be, "United we stand"... yet united healthcare.... NOT a good idea. If I'm not clear and you want to chat, reach out. - gravy.
