A reading of the policy contract is required to give such an answer. There are above ground and in ground pools. Some contracts may define an above ground pool as contents or personal property. Most policies define an in ground pool as a structure. The coverage parts, definitions, and exclusions will all contribute to answering this inquiry. The contract must be examined to determine a definitive answer.
