    Yes.  For a house there are three basic levels of coverage you can have, HO-1, HO-2 or HO-3, which translates to basic, broad and special forms.

    In the most basic of forms, an HO-1, there are usually eleven listed perils, one of them being lightning damage.

    More often than not an agent will place you under a HO-3 form, which is the special form.  This provides the most coverage.  However, even if your agent placed you with an HO-1 you will still have protection against lightning, unless for some reason it was specifically excluded.  So for good measure review your policy just in case.
