A fence is considered part of a homeowner's policy (perhaps other structures) and is typically covered for many named perils.

Unless specifically excluded or not one of the named perils, it should be covered.

However, you will have a deductible to meet. So if it is a relatively small amount of damage, discuss with your broker the specifics before filing the claim.

A fence is normally covered under a homeowner’s policy. Please contact your agent before filing a claim as a fence claim may not exceed your deductible and if it does there might be premium adjustments that would make filing the claim questionable. There are claims that you should not file.
