There are many factors that come into play when getting pricing for Homeowner's insurance. Some of the factors are square feet, age of home, internal and external features, location, and population of that area. These are only a few of the items that change the price for a Homeowner's insurance policy. Generally speaking, if you have a smaller home with fewer special, or high-end features, you can expect to pay less than someone who has a larger home with high-end features. However, location can be a large factor because rates are different for every location. I understand that you are looking for more of an answer in terms of dollars and cents, but your best bet is to get a quote with your local insurance specialist to see how much it will end up being.
