You would be seeking a homeonwers insurance policy. Most carriers have homeowners insurance policies that provide coverage for mobile homes. The type of home will normally be established during the quoting process. Your local agent will ask several questions about the property and details about the home so that they can help direct you to the coverages that are right for you.

A Mobile Home Insurance policy is similar to a Homeowners' in that it provides some of the same kind of coverage.  It is , however, specifically designed to meet the unique needs of a Mobile Home owner.  Coverage on the structure itself can be determined in many cases by the purchase price, if it is fairly new, but there are specially designed toold available to estimate ther replacement value.  Some considerations that may affect pricing that are different from a Homeowners' policy are items such as how the Mobile Home is situated.  For example, what kind of tie downs are used? Is it on a permanent foundations?  Is it in an approved park facility? Ask if there is additional coverage available for awnings, canapies, etc.
