Most people can get life insurance, but not everyone. A child born with a mental or physical handicap will have a tough time getting coverage until old enough to get a guaranteed issue policy. It is difficult to cover persons over age 85, although can happen. Those who have had a recent diagnosis of a serious disease may need to wait, especially if they are too young and or not in a state where guaranteed issue policies are offered.

That being said, there is something out there for most everyone, if you hunt hard enough. Agencies that carry multiple products can assist you.
