The price for term insurance will vary depending on the amount of coverage, the term (number of years) of the policy, where you live, certain health considerations, whether you smoke, etc. Below is my Facebook post from last Thursday, which will give you a sample. To get a specific quote, you should work with a Life Insurance Agent.

Did you know... a 30 y/o male can get $500,000 10-Yr Term Life Ins for $16/mo !? A 40 y/o male = $23/mo. A 50 y/o male = $46/mo. Old proverb: "Anyone who dies without life insurance should be required to come back and clean up the mess."

The term life insurance brokerage market is fiercely competitive and offers a range of guaranteed premium periods like 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 years. The non-rated health classifications are based on two categories: non-smoking and smoking. The non-smoking category is segmented into five sub categories: super preferred, preferred plus, preferred, standard plus and standard. The smoking category is segmented into three sub categories: preferred smoking, smoking and no-cigarette tobacco. Then there’s the impaired risk categories classify mortality charges of insureds below the standard ratings, up to 16 tables.

Your gender, age, smoking status, health history and current medical condition are all mitigating factors in premium pricing term life insurance. A nonsmoking super preferred male or female, age 25 purchasing 10 year guaranteed level term life insurance for $100,000 of coverage will pay around $80-85 a year.
