In order to find out the value of a permanent life insurance policy, you can order a current illustration from the life insurance company that issued the policy, or have your agent order it for you. If your agent is no longer around, you can give permission to another agent to order it and explain it to you.

This illustration will give you up to date information about the cash value in your policy, your loans and charges, etc.

If you want to see how your policy would perform if you increase or decreased the premium, decreased the face amount, or used cash value to pay premiums, you can order an illustration like that, as well.
