No Exam Life Insurance is life insurance that does not require a medical exam. Some people would rather skip taking an exam, even if it would cost s little more than applying for a policy that requires one. Sometimes, No Exam Life Insurance is all the person can get, due to health concerns. Some No Exam policies are priced very competitively, especially for those who might otherwise be rated Standard with a policy requiring an exam.

No exam life insurance is known as "Simplified Issue" life insurance. This means the insurance carrier will not require you to take a live medical exam. These plans are underwritten and they can order medical records. Do not confuse "Simplified Issue" with "Guaranteed Issue" plans. You can still be declined if there are serious health concerns. SI plans are usually faster to issue but cost a bit more than standard underwritten plans.
