    If you are only concerned with a specific medication, first check Medicare.gov. There is a section where you can review plans solely on the costs by medication. Different plans have different drug formularies. You will want to look at Advantage plans. Second, talk to your pharmacist to see what discounts they can suggest. Third, call the centers for Medicare to see if she will qualify for any extra help programs. As for Medicaid, your state's health & Human Resources department can help you determine Medicaid eligibility. Do know that there are different levels of Medicaid assistance from partial help to full subsidies.
