    If hospitals accept federal funds they are prohibited from denying services to Medicare or Medicaid patients.

    Under EMTALA rules, hospitals cannot deny services to anyone regardless of their ability to pay, if they arrive and has a critical medical emergency.

    Almost every hospital receive some federal funding so you should not have a problem.
