    You should be getting a statement each year showing the total premiums you are paying for medicare. If you complete your own taxes you show the premiums paid for medicare into the social security benefits section which in turn transfers those payments into schedule A. If you use on line software to complete your returns this is a very simple process. This calculation nis then added into the total insurance premiums paid if you are also paying for medicare supplement policies and perhaps you have qualfied long term care polcies as well
