As a general rule Medigap plans do not cover prescription drug plans. Some prescription drugs are covered under Medicare Part B.

If you have a Medigap plan and are receiving infusion therapy under Medicare Part B, your Medicare supplement plan will cover their portion of approved Part B medication claims.

No, Medigap policies do not cover drugs, but you can add a standalone Part D prescription drug plan to cover them.

Medigap policies used to cover prescription drugs under plans E, H, I, and J, but these plans were removed from the marketplace several years ago.

I hope the information is helpful - please feel free to contact me for assistance with your Medicare coverage and if you have any other questions. Thanks very much.
