   Medicare supplements and/or Medicare Advantage Plans will generally cover emergency care outside of the country. There may be stipulations such as "within the 1st 60 days of travel" or there may be a lifetime maximum of perhaps $50,000. In addition, you should be prepared to charge the care to your credit card, then submit the bills to get reimbursed from your carrier upon your return.
