    Most likely Medicare will not pay for circumcision. Very few circumcisions are performed on adults. Medicare covers people over the age of 65. 

    Many health insurance plans will not cover ritual circumcision. It is viewed as an elective procedure. Some plans will cover the procedure if deemed medically necessary. A greater percentage of claims are paid when there is a medical diagnosis such as phimosis .
