    Medicare covers Bone Density Exams each 24 months assuming your doctor is ordering the exam done. Since I am not a doctor I assume that a regular physical that medicare will pay for each year does not entail any bone density exams. Preventive medicine has become more pronounced as Medicare encourages the annual exams designed to catch health issues early by paying for these exams
