Switching your Medigap plan is quite simple and can be made at any time during the year. Once you are outside of your initial enrollment period (for most it ends 6 months after you sign up for Medicare Part B) you can enroll in a Medigap plan at any time. In most states you will need to provide proof you are insurable, but this can be verified by a phone call to a Medicare insurance broker in 2 minutes or less.
