    Medicare Part B will cover a colonoscopy performed once every 10 years for persons of low risk (but not within 4 years after a sigmoidoscopy). Persons at high risk for colorectal cancer can have a colonoscopy paid for by Medicare every 2 years. A Medicare Advantage Plan may cover colonoscopy more often.
