    Not at this time.  Medicare could face some changes down the road however.  Do not let the political scare tactics of either party cause you undo concern.  At the same time it is good to keep informed of any changes and if you disagree with those changes then contact your congressman.

    Medicare is underfunded and is in worse shape than Social Security.

    This is why Congress is looking for ways to reduce Medicare liability.

    Congress has no clue how to manage such a program and their idea on how to reduce Medicare costs is to shift the costs to Medicare beneficiaries and providers. This means docs are paid less, and you pay more in the form of higher premiums and higher deductibles.
