    Yes, Hospice Care is covered by Medicare.  Medicare will pay for the services of a Hospice agency to mange the care of the loved one in need.  Depending on the agency, services can vary.  Usually the care is provided in the home, but it can be offered if the person is on Medicaid and in a Nursing Home.  With Hospice, no life saving measures will be taken, the patient is kept comfortable and pain is managed.
