    Medicare Part B covers most lab tests as long as they are medically necessary. Routine blood work in conjunction with your annual preventive care exam is usually covered at no charge to you. If your lab tests are diagnostic in nature, and considered medically necessary, they should be covered subject to the deductible and coinsurance.
