You may not need a Medicare Supplement plan! If you have substantial funds to cover many of the Part A and Part B expenses not covered by Medicare (and other expenses as well), there is no reason to purchase a plan.

However, a Medigap plan may be a good "buy," even if you feel the needed funds are in place. Open Enrollment takes place every year and you should review options (no obligation) with an experienced full-time broker. There is no doubt that having a combination of Medicare and a Medigap plan will allow you to sleep easier and have more control over your finances.

Medicare supplement plans are great for those who need to budget their cash flow in retirement. When you have original Medicare and a Medicare supplement plan you can know exactly how much your exposure is for approved Medicare Part A and Part B expenses.

Medigap plans can be a solid investment in controlling your financial risk.
