    Yes, Medicare will pay for a kidney transplant that has been deemed medically necessary. Medicare Part A will pay for inpatient services, the kidney registry fee, labs for you and your potential kidney donors, full cost of care for your donor, and blood needed during either your or your donor's surgery. Part B covers you and your donor's doctor's services before, during and after the transplant; immunosuppressive drugs, and blood needed.
