    Unfortunately, raised toilet seats are not considered medically necessary by Medicare, and as such, are not covered by Part B under DME. Along with grab bars and other safety features in the bathroom, raised toilet seats are considered a "personal convenience" item, therefore do not meet the medically necessary criteria.
