    Medicare only pays for medically necessary treatments, surgeries, procedures, and medications. Medicare does not cover surgeries that are for cosmetic purposes. Abdominoplasty that is not medically necessary to correct a related to a heath condition, therefore, will not be covered by Medicare. Some Medicare Advantage plans may cover drugs related to having the abdominoplasty done.
