    Most cosmetic surgery is not covered under Medicare. Exceptions are made when the surgery is considered medically necessary to repair an injury or in the case of a radical mastectomy, to reconstruct the breast.

    If treatment for skin cancer of the nose caused disfigurement, Medicare may pay for restoration of your facial features.
