   This can be a little confusing as property stored off premises over 30 days is reduced to 10% of it's limit. However this refers to storing at such places like a parents or neighbors house for example. A storage unit is a different matter. Since you signing into a contract to rent a unit the unit is considered an extension of your home and your items are fully covered. I strongly suggest you consult with your agent on the specifics of your particular policy as all polices are not necessarily created equal.
