While the companies vary, the real choice is among the agents.  A trusted agent is a good listener, a wise counselor and an honest advocate.  If you don’t have an agent, get a recommendation from a friend, colleague or neighbor.  Listen carefully to the advice the agent provides.  When you receive your policy make sure that it is what you wanted.  In this process don’t overlook the need for adequate limits.  The worst policy is the one that doesn’t meet your needs when you have a claim.
