    In a fire your homeowner’s insurance will pay for damage to your personal property, the additional cost of finding alternate temporary lodging and will adjust the claim on the basis of replacement cost if you selected that coverage. If there are liability claims arising out of the fire your liability section will defend and pay awards up to the limits of the policy.
