    Good Question... Renters insurance covers a renters personal property (stuff), loss of use (should you need a place to live from a covered loss) and personal liability. Homeowners Insurance is similar to renters insurance but it adds on coverage for "Dwelling" and "Other Structures" and is designed to protect the titled owner of a home.
