    It is extremely important to have a retirement plan. The day you start working is the day you should pay yourself first because that's what a retirement plan is...paying yourself first. Even if it's a modest amount, it's the beginning of a disciplined habit that can pay off big in your golden years. What you do today will determine how you live tomorrow.

    It depends on how you want to live your life when you are tired of working.....do you want to travel ? You will need money. Will you want to get that dream car you have always wanted ? You will need money Will you want to depend on your kids to take care of you.....that would suck...Put aside something per month that way by the time you do want to retire you will have money to spend, the way you want to spend it.
