		<description><![CDATA[In answering this question, we assume that CDL is an abbreviation for California Drivers License.  If you are a California resident seeking to purchase Auto Insurance,  it is assumed that you would have a California Drivers License thus not a method of lowering your insurance premium.  The State of California allows insurance companies to base auto insurance premium rates on the experience of the driver; thus the longer you are licensed, your premium would be lower.   However, your driving record would be equally important as this would be another method of adjusting rates on a policy.
